Livadi

Commercial village Livadi!
It is located in the south-central part of the island on the main road. In recent years it has experienced the greatest development of all the villages in Kythira, and is one of the largest commercial centers of the island. In the village there are several traditional houses as well as several with neoclassical influences. At a distance of about one kilometer, in the settlement of Kato Livadi, there is Katouni, which is the largest stone bridge in Greece and was built during the British occupation. There is also the excellent collection of the Museum of Byzantine frescoes, the entrance is free. In Livadi there are several accommodation units, cafes and restaurants.
