Tsakonas Gorge

The hidden churches!
The Tsakona gorge is located between two beautiful villages, Mitata and Viaradika, in the center of the island, among wonderful lush vegetation. In the gorge there are many running waters that in a rich natural environment in the past operated water mills for which they are saved and even today the scenery is completed with the waters ending up in pedestals between pervolia. A special attraction are the hidden little churches carved into the rocks.
